Dr. Friend and his surgical team have developed a streamlined, safe, and highly efficient system for providing in-office surgical services. Our goal is simple: make advanced care accessible without requiring patients to travel. For patients at our own Dry Ridge practice, our oral surgeon provides these services directly, including dental implant placement and All-on-X full-arch restorations. Frequently Asked Questions
How does the schedule work?
We typically schedule visits on your day off (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday). This ensures we don’t interfere with your production—we simply add to it.
How does scheduling, treatment planning, and coding work?
You’re the doctor. If you’re unsure about which codes to use, we’ve pre-built the most commonly associated codes and will provide training and support as needed.
Dr. Friend often reviews all PANs and CBCTs ahead of time and consults with the admin team to confirm treatment plans. He’s also available for same-day cases when needed, helping the team build an efficient, profitable, and smooth day.
What does the office need to provide?
Only disposables: gauze, anesthetic, water, gloves, and masks—as well as a functioning sterilizer. We bring all our own equipment.
How does payment work?
We offer two options:
- Office-Handled – We perform the procedures, and your office handles all billing and collections. We split production profits.
- Turnkey – We handle billing and collections for all the patients and rent 2 to 3 dental chairs for the day. ($3000-$7000)
Both models work well and have their own advantages.
What about post-op calls and complications?
We see very few post-op issues. If something does arise and you’re uncomfortable handling it, the doctor will follow up with the patient personally. We also provide a dedicated line for patients to contact the doctor directly.
