Nellie is a native of Boone County. Her and her husband built their dream home in Grant county 4 years ago and loves country living. She is a boy momma, but loves being a Gigi. She also loves her German shepherds and black cat. She will never turn down a glass of good bourbon or wine. When she is not working hard here at the office, she enjoys reading, gardening, and baking. She has started to bake her own bread, and it is delicious. Her and her husband enjoy traveling and taking long drives in her Jeep Wrangler (they have his and her Jeeps).
Kailee graduated as an EDDA from The Medical Institute of Kentucky. Having a career in the dental field isn’t a job to her, it was her dream, and she hopes to be able to share that with you. When she is not at work you can find her taking on the role of wife, dog mama, sister, daughter, Auntie, and Christian. She and her husband are always up for an adventure, whether it be a jeep ride through the mountains with friends or a road trip by themselves. She strives to live by the verse Philippians 4:10-13. That God is my strength and that he will always be whether my season is that of plenty or want. She hopes to see you and your beautiful smile soon!!
Abby or “Abs”, as her family and friends call her, was born and raised in Williamstown. She graduated from Williamstown High School in 2024 and is currently enrolled at Bluegrass Community and Technical College. She aspires to be a Dental Hygienist, so figured Co-opping at our office her senior year would help her get started. Abby is a lifelong patient of Dr.Rich’s. In Abbys free time she loves hanging out with her nephew and her dog Max. Abby hopes to greet your beautiful smiles soon, and hopefully one day have you in her chair!
Kaitlynn Good aka “KG” as some at the office call her was born and raised on her family’s farm in Grant County. Her passion for dentistry started shortly after graduating high school and working for Dr.Friend in 2023. She’s a long-time patient of Dr. Rich’s, where she became interested in the dental field. If you can’t find KG here at the office, look at the shopping mall or hair/nail salon. She loves to shower herself with gifts and make sure she is looking top notch. When she isn’t pampering herself, she enjoys spending time hanging out with friends and family.
Caitlin but here at Friendly Dental we call her Cait! Originally from Waverly, Tn, Cait grew up on the river mainly at a place called “Turkey Creek” where her entire family would spend the summers off grid camping, fishing, and being thrown off a water tube by her dad. Cait comes from a big family having 3 older siblings, 3 younger siblings, 2 nephews, 1 niece and as her parents would say “a lot of bonus kids running in and out of the house”. She started her career in dentistry in 2018 after graduating from IDT then spent a few years traveling all over Kentucky to assist in surgery’s! When Cait isn’t at work helping patients, she’s doing what she loves most which is spending time with her fiancé, Mason, and their son, Stetson Wayne!
Meet Lexi – a 2023 graduate of Simon Kenton High School and a graduate of The Medical Institute of Kentucky (TMIKY). She’s on a mission to make smiles brighter, one tooth at a time. When she’s not making people feel confident in the dental chair, she’s probably out fishing (yes, she baits her own hook), shopping with friends, soaking up the sun, or pretending she’s not already thinking about her next snack. Lexi proudly reigns as the oldest (and clearly favorite) of five siblings – a title she takes very seriously, mostly for bragging rights. She’s also a part-time stand-up comedian (in her own mind), and full-blown dog mom to the one and only Oscar… aka Oscar Meyer. She can’t wait to ease your worries with her jokes and fun-loving heart!
Kristina, aka “Kris with a K,” made the leap from Madison County to Grant County, trading her title of retired Volleyball Mom for a new role helping to lead the Hygiene program at FDC. With an empty nest and an itch for purpose, she decided she wasn’t quite done with her 29 wonderful years of dentistry. If she isn’t in the clinic, trying to rid the world of periodontal disease, or in the office masterminding the very populated schedule, she is probably traveling with her hubby, trying the weirdest foods at the most hole in the wall places they can find. Even more so, if there’s a music festival within a hundred miles, odds are she’s there—probably dancing, definitely singing. Kris is a true fan of college sports (bleeds many colors), enjoys hiking with her fearless Morkie “Cooper”, camping, and all things outdoors, Kris has earned the name “Peloton Princess,” despite her famously stubborn knee. Kris looks forward to seeing you in her chair and will likely ask for tips on gardening, perhaps your favorite beer and places she should visit near her new NKY home
Jessica grew up in Dearborn County, Indiana and graduated from East Central HS. This is where she met her husband, Kody. After high school he entered the military which allowed them to live in different states and countries such as California and Italy. On her off time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, being near the water, but mostly being around her family, including her two dogs. She graduated from University of Cincinnati Blue Ash to pursue her passion as a dental hygienist. Jessica is someone who deeply cares about her patient’s oral health and well-being. She has been living in Dry Ridge for 3 years now and continues to enjoy getting to know the Grant county community.
Meet Chelsea- a proud lifelong resident of Grant Co, who truly loves the charm of her small town. She graduated from IDT as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant in 2017. When she is not taking care of you in her chair, she’s most likely home wrestling her two beautiful young children. She loves to spend time with them and her husband. She is the #1 of four siblings. Her greatest joy in life is spending time with her family, of course, and hearing Dr. Jonathan’s infectious laugh.
Christina Gripshover (aka-Chrissy to her family) was raised on a farm in southern Kenton County. Being raised on a farm, she, her siblings, and cousin learned a good work ethic along with life lessons, such as don’t walk too close to the back of a horse and to watch out for the bulls. Christina graduated from Simon Kenton High School, not long after becoming a mom to her fabulous Matthew. She enjoyed being a ‘young mom” and was able to grow up with her son. In 2020 she moved off the family farm to start a life with her now husband, Chris. Chris and Christina (The Chris’s to her camp friends) enjoy living and loving life to the fullest. She is always up for an adventure whether it be traveling, camping, going on sxs rides, finding new breweries and new restaurants to try or just hanging out with her family and friends. When not doing any of those things, which is rare, she enjoys spending time with her now adult Matthew, step-children and grandkids, which is such a blessing. Christina started her career in dentistry in Grant County in 2001. She claims growing up in the dental chair made her realize a career in it would be cheaper for her dental needs in the future. Christina keeps our days full of jokes and fun! If you need a good laugh, hang around Christina for a bit, there will be laughs soon.
