Dr. Bill Faulkner has served the Cynthiana community for more than 40 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Doctorate from the University of Kentucky before beginning his dental career in both Lexington and Cynthiana. Early on, Dr. Faulkner chose to focus his practice full-time in Cynthiana, where he has continued to care for patients across generations. He now concentrates primarily on restorative dentistry, helping patients maintain comfortable, functional smiles. Outside the office, Dr. Faulkner has been deeply involved in the community as a long-time high school coach. His dedication to both his patients and Cynthiana reflects the values behind Friendly Dental.
Dr. Neil Rush
Dr. Neil Rush has served patients in Cynthiana for decades with professionalism and dedication. A Kentucky native, he earned his undergraduate degree from Centre College and his Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. After practicing with Dr. Quentin Frazier, Dr. Rush established his own private practice in 1980 and has continued to care for the community ever since. He is actively involved in both dentistry and civic life in Cynthiana and values long-term relationships with his patients. Outside the office, Dr. Rush enjoys fly fishing and cheering on Kentucky sports teams.
Dr. Josh Thomas
Dr. Josh Thomas is Kentucky born and raised and proud to be caring for families in the community he calls home. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of the Cumberlands before attending the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
After dental school, Dr. Thomas completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the United States Army. He then served for several years at Fort Stewart, Georgia, caring for service members and their families. His time in the Army strengthened the values he brings into the office every day: trust, service, discipline, and treating people the way he would want to be treated.
Dr. Thomas enjoys helping patients feel heard, comfortable, and confident in their care. He believes dentistry should be personal, thoughtful, and focused on helping people keep healthy, functional smiles for years to come.
Outside of the office, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife and growing family, staying active, being outdoors, and staying involved in his community. He feels grateful for the opportunity to care for patients and build relationships that last.
